Tokyo Garden Jewelry 2008 is an event for demonstrating the effects of greenery and flowers in an urban environment and proposing a lifestyle with a stronger awareness of coexistence with the environment. The event will take place at two sites: the “park” area of Hibiya Park (the Hibiya Gardening Show), and the “urban” area of Marunouchi-nakadori (the Marunouchi-nakadori Ave. Gardening Show).
The Marunouchi-nakadori Ave. Gardening Show 2008, which offers corridor gardens connecting park and offices,, relaxing spaces for office workers, and an appealing destination for city sightseeing, is Japan’s only urban gardening show.
This year’s theme is “Harvest Garden.”
The show will display 20 contest gardens featuring fruits and vegetables as an answer to problems humankind faces, such as the impact of global warming on us and our food. Special presentations—exhibits of vertical gardens in the form of hanging baskets, model gardens created by past contest winners garden designers Yoko Otaki and Mariko Asayama, and a guest garden designed by prominent garden designer Yosuke Ida—are also planned, to make this a scintillating event for Nakadori Ave. Come and enjoy a green oasis in the heart of Tokyo.

'도쿄 가든 주얼리'는 도시의 숲과 꽃의 효과, 환경 공생을 의식한 라이프스타일을 제안하는 행사입니다. 장소는 히비야공원의 '파크' 지역('히비야 가드닝 쇼')과 마루노우치 나카도리 거리의 '얼반(urban)'지역('마루노우치 나카도리 거리 가드닝 쇼')의 두 곳입니다.
그 중 '마루노우치 나카도리 거리 가드닝 쇼 2008'은, 공원과 오피스를 연결하는 복도형 가든을 구축, 오피스에서 일하는 사람들에 대한 휴식공간을 제공, 도시 관광의 새로운 매력을 부여하기 위한 일본 유일의 도심 가드닝 쇼입니다.
올해의 테마는 'Harvest Garden'(수확할 수 있는 정원).
지구 온난화가 인간과 식재료에 미치는 영향 등의 문제에 대해 하나의 답으로서, 과일과 야채 등을 도입한 콘테스트 가든 20개 작품이 전시됩니다. 또 기간 중에 행깅 바스켓에 의한 입체 화단과 과거 콘테스트 수상자이자 가든 디자이너인 오타키 노부코 씨와 아사야마 마리코 씨에 의한 모델 가든의 전시, 그리고 유명한 가든 디자이너인 이다 요스케 씨에 의한 게스트 가든의 전시 등, 다양한 이벤트가 나카도리 거리를 화려하게 장식합니다. 도심에 출현한 이 오아시스 공간을 놓치지 마시고 만끽해 보십시오.

“东京花园展”旨在以提供绿色及花卉装饰来提高城市环境绿化、美化的总体水平，建设环境友好型社会。此展分为日比谷公园的“PARK”展区（日比谷花园节）和丸内仲街的“URBAN”（ 丸内仲街花园节）展区。
其中“2008丸内仲街花园节”为日本唯一的城市题材花园节，旨在构筑公园与办公室间的环廊型花园；为办公室上班族提供舒雅空间；创造城市观光新亮点。
今年的主题为“Harvest Garden”（收获之园）
以地球温暖化为主题，加入果蔬元素的花园设计竞赛的20幅作品也将参加展出。展出期间，不但会有挂蓝式的立体花坛展、往届获奖者的大泷畅子及朝山MARIKO的作品参展，并且特邀著名花园设计师井田洋介携作品参展。相信在鲜艳色彩包围的仲街中，您将感受到城市绿洲带来的清新呼吸。

Guided tours of the model gardens and the contest gardens, along with descriptions of nearby buildings, are scheduled to be offered at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on October 25 and 26 and November 1. Visitors wishing to join a tour should assemble at Model Garden1 shown on the map.
